With our extensive effort, B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. has earned recognition of the highest level of the National Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC) program by receiving the Platinum Award for each of the past five years.

It is through the efforts of our dedicated employees that we can claim that we are the only excavating and paving company to receive this level award in the Keystone area of the ABC organization.

We have also achieved the Gold Level Award for the Excellence in Construction Safety Award program for the past several years, with the ABC Keystone Chapter.

It is our priority to provide a SAFE environment for each employee on a day-to-day basis. CARING for our employees has been important to us since the day we started in 1936.

The purpose of the management of B.R.Kreider & Son, Inc. is to continually improve a program where every employee will strive to maintain a safe workplace and use safe work practices and procedures at all times.

A full-time professional to manage the Safety Program is on staff and is actively involved in coaching, training, job site inspections, and maintaining all records and documentation.

• Our active Safety committee meets monthly and is certified through the Dept. of Labor & Industry.
• A document of compliance is required by all qualified Subcontractors.
• Pre-employment and random Drug & Alcohol testing
• MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Hazard Control Programs
• All Safety rules are in compliance with the OSHA regulations and Insurance requirements.
• Each month one employee is recognized for their extra effort in promoting safety among their co-workers.
