The Keyston Chapter, Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC) recognizes the efforts of ABC members that

strive to acheive effective safety practices at their firms and provides contractors with a tool to objectively evaluate their safety programs, policies, procedures, and training.  The ABC's Safety & Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program distribute awards ranging from Bronze to Platinum, with Platinum being the highest level acheivable.

CARING for our employees has been important to us since the day we started in 1936. It is our priority to

provide a SAFE environment for each employee on a day-to-day basis.

A full-time professional to manage the Safety Program is on staff and is actively involved in coaching, training, job site inspections, and maintaining all records and documentation.

  • In house on-line based training for all field employees
  • Equipment training and certification program for all field employees
  • Our active Safety committee meets monthly and is certified through the Dept. of Labor & Industry.
  • A document of compliance is required by all qualified Subcontractors.
  • Pre-employment and random Drug & Alcohol testing
  • MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Hazard Control Programs
  • All Safety rules are in compliance with the OSHA regulations and Insurance requirements.
  • Each month one employee is recognized for their extra effort in promoting safety among their co-workers.
