Porous
Paving
Porous pavement consists of a permeable surface course, which provides storm
water management. Storm water drains through the surface, and is temporarily
held in the voids of the stone bed, and then slowly exfiltrates into the underlying,
un-compacted
soil mantle. Porous pavement is well suited for parking lots, walking paths,
sidewalks, playgrounds, plazas and other similar areas.
