Join a growing company and become part of the Pin Oak Service team! We are in search of a talented and energetic Auto Technician for a full-time position of either 4 or 5 days. We are looking for someone who is dependable and has a minimum of 2 years of work experience or 2-3 years of automotive education! If you have completed, or will soon be completing your schooling, we want to talk to you!

Working at Pin Oak is incredibly rewarding. New hires fresh out of school with no tools get a $3000 tool starter set and an annual $500 personal tool allowance. Experienced hires with more than 3 years get a $1500 tool allowance in their first year with an annual $500 allowance per year after that.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality and efficient repairs and services
  • Operate all tools and equipment professionally and safely
  • Keep personally assigned area free from clutter to prevent hazards
  • Turn in thorough time tickets and repair orders as required
  • Assist in taking annual physical inventory
  • Be courteous and respectful to all customers, vendors and others
  • Help keep parts room clean and organized
  • Assist with picking up vehicles from fleet customers
  • Work extra hours when emergencies occur to equipment
  • Perform other related tasks as required within the scope of the position
 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License Required, CDL Class A preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience or Automotive Education
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • State Inspection & Emissions Licenses 
  • Experience in car and truck repairs and services
  • Ability to perform all levels of scheduled maintenance
  • Experience servicing fleets is preferred
  • Knowledge of state inspection procedures and requirements
  • Team player who is motivated with a positive attitude
