Manheim, PA – Leon Harnly and Josh Swarr were recently named the recipients of the 2014 President’s Award from B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc.
Harnly, a Dispatcher with the family-owned excavating, paving and site management company, based in Manheim, PA, and Swarr, a Trackhoe Operator, were recognized during the company’s Annual Christmas Breakfast.
In addition to job performance, the criteria for the award also includes promoting and following safety procedures, striving to improve and develop individual potential, as well as an employee’s day-to-day attitude.
“Leon is an incredible dispatcher, which means he definitely has the ability to multitask,” said Michael Fecik, President of B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. at the awards presentation. “It’s a difficult position because Leon is responsible for scheduling and tracking our work crews, our equipment and our truckers, yet he constantly exceeds expectations. Sometimes I don’t know how he does it all.”
Harnly also recently celebrated his 30-year anniversary with the company.
Swarr was recognized, in part, because of his dedication to meeting production requirements, commitment to safety policies, and his attention to detail.
“In addition to the excellent job he does day-in and day-out, Josh is always ready to pitch in and help, too,” said Fecik. “He has a positive attitude and is willing to tackle new situations. He is a true team player. Both Josh and Leon focus on providing the best service to the customer, their fellow employees, and B.R. Kreider & Son.”
