Manheim, PA (February 11) – B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., an excavating, paving and site management company based in Manheim, PA, recently announced the asset purchase of Andrews Excavating in Willow Street, PA.
The new team members will operate out of one of B.R. Kreider’s 3 locations of Manheim, Quarryville or Lebanon, according to Brent Kreider, President of B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc.
“Both companies have served clients for 90 years in the area and we always considered them good friendly competition. We saw this as a great opportunity to add some strong site experience that would enable us to better serve our clients in south central Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware,” said Kreider. “Andrews was always quality focused and felt this was a perfect opportunity to strengthen our team for our clients and build upon both organizations 90 years of experience.
Andrews has been serving customers in south central and eastern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland since 1936. They are led by Mark Rineer who was a long time VP that purchased the company from the Andrews family in 2016 upon their retirement. As Mark approached retirement he felt that the two 90 year organizations would be a good fit for his team and to continue serving his clients.
The acquisition happened Monday, February 2, 2026. B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. will acquire a select list of equipment and a number of remaining projects.
