B.R. Kreider & Son “Christmas In July” Benefits Two Area Organizations

Manheim, PA – B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., a family-owned and operated excavating and paving company, recently held a “Christmas in July” collection among its employees in support of two area organizations.

The employees collected and donated over 260 items, including gift cards and boxes of non-perishable foods which were then delivered to Mom’s House in Lancaster, PA and The Factory Ministries in Gap, PA.

Mom’s House works with single parents facing an unplanned pregnancy and is a non-profit, licensed childcare center providing pre-school children of single parents with quality care and education while parents are plugged into network of supportive services that enable them to complete their education and get off of welfare. The Factory Ministries serves those in poverty in the Pequea Valley area with a goal of empowering and enabling those who use the ministry’s food bank and other services.

“We are always overwhelmed by the generous spirit of giving among our employees,” said Michael Fecik, President of B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. “In fact, it was our employees’ response this past Christmas season in support of organizations in Lancaster and Lebanon that inspired the idea of having a ‘Christmas in July’ collection effort. Both organizations were very appreciative of the support and the positive impact the donated items will have on families and children in our communities.”
